Forms & Frontdoor is now live on the Atlassian Marketplace. It turns Confluence into a full data-collection platform: build forms visually, embed them on any page, and let automation handle everything that should happen after someone hits Submit.
Build forms where your team already works
The builder is a true WYSIWYG canvas — 13 field types (text, selects, dates, ratings, signatures, Confluence user and group pickers, and more), rich-text labels, validation rules, and multi-section forms with per-page navigation. Theming covers 6 standard and 7 animated themes, accent colors, and banner images that automatically follow each viewer's Confluence light or dark mode.
Automation is the headline feature
Every form gets a visual automation canvas. Chain actions that run after each submission — or in batches — and branch the flow with If / Else conditions on answer values:
- Confluence — create pages, add comments, append content, create tasks, add labels, watchers, and attachments.
- Jira — create issues with project, type, priority and assignee, comment, set priority, add watchers.
- Slack & Microsoft Teams — post messages to channels via webhooks.
Everything respects permissions: automations are checked against the author's real Confluence and Jira access at save time and again at execution, and every run is recorded in a per-form execution log.
Access control and response management
Restrict submissions to logged-in users or specific Confluence groups, enforce single-response limits server-side, then review responses in a filterable table, an analytics dashboard, or export to CSV.
