Recognition Hub adds a Recognize action to monday.com board items. It is the fastest way to thank someone for work you are already looking at.

From one item
Hover an item, click the ⋯ menu, and choose Recognize. The composer opens in a window over the board with the people assigned on that item already in the recipient field — so the question it usually opens on is answered before you start typing.
From several items at once
Tick two or more items and choose Recognize from the batch action bar. Everyone assigned across the selection is gathered into one recognition, with duplicates removed — the same owner on five items is one recipient, not five.

If the recipients are not filled in
Reading who is assigned needs the boards:read permission, which is granted when an admin connects the app. If the picker opens empty, the connection predates that permission: an admin should reconnect under Settings > Integrations, on the monday connection. Recognition itself works either way — only the prefill is affected, and you can always search for people yourself.
What the item contributes
Only who was working on it. Recognitions are account-wide rather than board-scoped: a recognition posted from an item appears in the same hub feed as every other one, and is not attached to the board, the item, or its updates. Nothing is written back to the board.
